FEAR

I have a lot of fears. We all do. Ones that we pray everyday not to experience.
And most times we let these fears define who we are. Sometimes we’re not even conscious of it. Today we’re feeling all courageous and tomorrow we’re being brought down again by them. It happens.
But the truth is fear is only as deep as the mind allows it.

We tend to make the uncertain things, certain; the abstract things, actual. And why? Because of how they seem to appear or how our MINDS have made them appear.
Fears prevent you from taking control. Then, in order to feel better, you actually believe you have no control. This prevents you from acting, trying, doing anything all. And then, you become sad.
You start looking down on yourself and then you see yourself trying to isolate from your friends and family, depression sets in, you don’t know what is going on around you anymore. And for what?
It’s not easy honestly. Even me writing this now, I used to play sad songs to make me cry more. (Scrap that.) I’m not perfect. No one is. But it doesn’t mean we can’t try. It doesn’t mean we can’t speak about it and help ourselves one way.

We have to strive hard in order to defeat. And no one can achieve that by doing nothing.
The more I’ve come to understand the concept of this fear, the more I’ve come to appreciate and believe in myself more and try to face challenges the right way which I’m still learning.
Yeah sometimes it doesn’t always end up well and most times it does end well but even if it doesn’t, at least you tried and you’ve settled that. That’s a big step and good for you! Means you’re ready for the next, because it will definitely come.
We are the ones that let our minds create the worst scenarios that could happen and that! Is what brings in the fear and ruins everything and then we start blaming ourselves.
You just need to believe in yourself. No phase comes without challenges and fears. Always tell yourself that.
All we have to do is face them with courage.
And with Christ of course everything is possible.
I challenge you to challenge that fear. Feel your mind with God’s word and feel your space with the right people, being there for each other.❤️
